So...
Today was the local comic show that occurs every so often at Four Points Sheraton. It's not large by any means, but there's usually a few vendors who have stuff that's not readily available here in town, so I always at least drop by to browse around.
Anyway, today's browsing was a success. Here are the key issues I managed to snag:
Uncanny X-Men #14 - $10.00 (really not good condition, but still... 1st Sentinels? I'm all over it)
Uncanny X-Men #120 - $14.00 (Easily NM...)
Uncanny X-Men #135 - $20.00 (Probably overpaid for this one, but this bad boy completes my 120-350 run)
Amazing Spider-Man #194 - $20.00 (First Black Cat VF/NM, just neat to have)
Those're the big ticket items. Most everything else was dragged out of the $.50 bin. These mostly contain random issues I saw that I decided I could spare .50 for. However, I did manage to pull a bunch pre-300 Amazing Spider-Man, along with some New X-Men, etc...
Other than that, spent most of the day sleeping, eating, or chasing the dog into the creek behind the house because someone attached the leash to the wrong part of the collar. This was of course followed by us giving the dog a bath, because really... that water's not so good.
And now, I need to return to hangin' out with the wife and dog.
