Time - itsa running fast!
I'm desperately sewing all week, trying to finish our costumes in time for Halloween. At least my total body exhaustion is starting to go away. OMG - can you imagine how old that got, and how fast?!? The good thing is we will be able to go to the birthday/Halloween bash Saturday night that we were hoping for, which means the costumes will get a wee bit more showing off than just to little scared kiddies on Halloween night.
In other news, I'm guessing we'll not be going to Europe for Rx's master's schooling. There just weren't enough pluses to counteract the minuses, I think. In addition, I think he may end up not wanting to limit his degree to the sports industry, exclusively. Honestly, while Europe would have been awesome, I think I'm okay without it, too. We're both pretty certain we're going to have to get the hell out of LA, though, if we ever want to live in anything but a crackerjack box. My family's completely heartbroken over it, but honestly, what do you expect? We can't stay here forever just to make sisters, parents and cousins happy, much less old high school friends that haven't done much with their lives.
If nothing else, I want to live, making the choices in life that make me feel energized, challenged, and awake. Otherwise, what's the point?
