Mission Statement

Is doing the right thing, always the best thing? For some reason, i don't know why, but i don't think the right thing is always the right thing. Maybe doing the right thing, will cost you something, something worth more than the moral obligation you could have avoided but chose not to, and now the right thing, has turned into something hideously horrid. Something small for instance, you help somebody...pick up something that you dropped. In the 5 minutes you took out of your life, you continue your day. Maybe in that five minutes, you missed a call because your phone was in your car, and you didn't hear it. Or maybe you don't have a cell phone, and you got to the phone right as the person hangs up. The call could have been really important. Are people really rewarded for their good deeds? Take fate for example, since everything is out of our control, why would doing the right thing matter? I don't really know where i was going with this. I really try and do the right thing as often as possible. Maybe i recieve my rewards in some unknown fashion that i am not meant to see. Maybe, just maybe i have to much time on my hands because i left my BIO notebook in my truck which i let my mother borrow, and can not study for my exam which i have tomorrow until she gets home. I think that might be the reason behind this madness i am calling a journal entry.
