I made new icons! Yay Photosuite. It's not quite Photoshop.. well, it's actually a giant pile of crap compared to Photoshop, but it lets me make silly lj icons and put people's faces on photos, so I'm happy. Maybe now I will remember to chance my icon every once in a while. I've always had 2 or 3 loaded, but I never ever change them around because I'm a big ol' douche.
Not much else going on in the life of erin. Josh was here over the weekend as seeing as how we are giant losers when we're together, we watched movies, at junk food and played video games the whole time. Huzzah! We may be losers when we're together, but we're happy losers. It kind of sucks that I don't get to go home until spring break, but it'll save me a bunch of money to stay here.
Speaking of money, I got my bank statement and I have about $300 more than I thought I did! How exciting is that? I should be getting my tax refund soon too... AND, my loan for France was approved and should be here soon. I'll just be rolling in dough. I'll just have to remember that it's not mine to piss away. The france trip is about three grand, and airfare is going to be another thousand, plus my passport at $85 and expenses over there.
My mp3 player broke thursday night, so I've been a whole week without it and I'm going crazy. I got so used to having music with me all the time that I have trouble working, reading or going to sleep without it. It's not broken forever and ever, the down volume button is stuck in so that no sound comes out. I can still hook it up to the computer via USB and play it through there, but I can't take it to bed or class, which is what I mainly did with it. Grr. Luckily I have the Best Buy warranty where I can pretty much go in and say "fix it" or "I want a new one" or if neither of those works, they'll give me a gift card for the amount I paid so I can buy something similar or spend it however I want. I like that plan. Hopefully it can just be fixed, because I really like my mp3 player.. and I don't want to go through the hassle of transferring all the music on it to another player, or of having to buy an iPod and switch all my files to iTunes and then transfer. That would make me a sad panda.
I can't believe I just wrote a whole paragraph about my broken mp3 player.
I think it's time to peace out.
