Dear Mum and Dad,
It is only a few hours passed past moonset and here I am writing you a letter. I just wanted you both to know that I'm the happiest I've been since learning I could come to Hogwarts. I know you've been worried about me since December's moon, and worried about certain people with whom I assosi associate and they're their influence on me.
Please don't any longer. Every thing is fine now.
Thank you for the set of calligraphy quills, too. I had meant to write to you right after my birthday, but I got a bit distracted. The quills are lovely, and the ink is an excellent quality. I've had to stash them so that my wonderful, prattish, brilliant roommates don't steal them.
I'm completely knackered, so I will end here.
