steampunk, corset, etc.
some musings...
trying to decide of using existing vs. making a corset; the reason being is this http://haabet.dk/patent/291335/index.html pattern, w/ straps and the like are highly advantageous to mwah.
for the clothes proper, http://www.lafnmoon.com/110_ladies_sporting_costumes.html called to me, and i shall have it. it will be my b-day present to myself (and possibly only second or third pattern i've ever paid full price for..)
still debating the busk. i need a stronger one than eris_star, and farthingale's has both a spoon-busk (preferred) and a 1" wide stiff busk-- however they run $50 and $26, respectively, a lot more than the skinnier $10 ones :(
now, i just need to finish cleaning out the sewing shack and get started sewing!!
