So I went ahead and bit the bullet last night and ordered some of the
Villainess goodies I was posting about yesterday. So, after some thinking, I snagged a large Smooch in Decadance (that sounds so horribly wrong :D), the Dulces en Fuego mud with the dish/spatula, and 2 soaps - one in Nightshade, one in Silk & Cyanide, since Blush and Villainess

And I'm just flat out a lotion whore. I love lotion. So a bunch of little ones to try "flavors" and a large one of vanilla, because I'm the whoriest of the vanilla whores. :D
And really, it's not that expensive, compared to the stuff Sephora and Lush sell! :D
(Something tells me I need a temptation icon)

What do you think of Tutti Dolci from Bath & Body Works? Normally I'm not too wild about their stuff, but TD Sugar Wafer is divine!

Most of the BBW stuff is just kinda meh. The scents I could've probably loved for longer than 3 weeks was Green Apple, but they'd gotten rid of it and all their stock of it by the time I was looking for it, and Honeyed Almond, which they also discontinued - I hoard my precious stash of the lotion and shower gel. Orange Blossom is the one I have right now, and I don't really like it all that much anymore.

I hear ya on the prices, the only reason I discovered this stuff in the first place was that I happened to wander in during their semi annual sale, they marked the body souffle to $10. I stocked up!

And I've really gotten to the point where I'd rather order something online than go to the mall. I don't particularly like the people at B&BW, so I'd much rather give my bath product money to a small business that makes wonderful things with imagination and varied options that are WELL worth the money (if not more) than some gigantic corporate conglomerate that has no imagination at all that just keeps rehashing the same old stuff time after time after time and shifting "flavors" continually to keep generating business. That's not to say that the smaller retailers don't change their scents, but they're not going to kill a scent that's doing well because they have to clear out the shelf space for the 12th revision of Freesia.

In terms of plain ol' drugstore stuff to tide one over, there's a Dove Nourishing Lotion that's fabulous for winter dry skin. I've lost my big bottle of it - I'll probably find it sometime, but it's really thick and creamy and to steal the Brylcreme tag, a little dab'll do ya. I have a little tube that sits on m'desk at work.
I fear finding all my old BBW stuff when I start the packing. I'm sure it's stashed somewhere, but I'm not sure where. It'll be enough for a small country for several years.
