a systematic review of day
Finally a cure to the cabin fever I was developing. The ice was still there, but I was so nearly mad that I decided to brave it . . . Erin came to get me so that we could wreck her car instead of mine. We went and got my hair cut. It looks short to me, I feel like she cut like 10 inches off, but haha apparently it doesn't look any different even though it's shoulderlength. When we discovered the roads were relatively clear, we came and got my car. We met up with Diana after a while and decided to take a road trip to Clemson to visit Ransome. It was not a bad drive. I didn't wreck, get pulled over by a cop, get lost, or get severe road rage. I deem it a success. Road trips are once again in my good graces. Ransome does indeed live in a bit of a hellhole. Probably because it is a frat dorm. His particular room is just fine. The rest of the facility is in ill-repair though, with broken beer bottles and the like decorating the stairwells. Hehheh. Better luck with housing next year. The other parts of the campus I saw were nice . . . it's like a little themepark, with little tiger paws everywhere and wild cats roaming the street. Maybe a bit too . . . subliminal. We went to play trivial pursuit with a bunch of Diana's friends from gov school the rest of the time. We won, haha. We answered like 5 questions right the whole time but won anyway, grand. Yep, and then we came home. We will do it again. Lovely day.
