August 1997: Mother Theresa, the saintly, devout humanitarian, dies days later, yet her death goes largely unnoticed due to the pomp and glitz surrounding the coverage of Diana.

April 2005: Pope John Paul II, the saintly, devout humanitarian, dies.
April 2005: Prince Rainier of Monaco, the regal glamour and royalty of Monaco, dies days later, yet his death goes largely unnoticed and is overshadowed by the coverage of the Pope.
