I finally found a relic from my childhood that I had been looking for...a creepy half hour called "The Red Room Riddle". It originally aired as part of ABC Weekend Specials, which would come on after the cartoons had ended on saturdays. I vaguely remember the weekend specials but I don't think I saw that one...it sounds pretty good. I like cheesy!...it is neat that it has gained some level of cult status.
