Dear everyone,
I know the lj_maintenance announcement says two hours, but does everyone remember Scotty's method of estimating repair time? "Worst case scenario times three"? Really. Twenty minutes, tops. Probably more like five. And the site will most likely be up for most of it. I promise. We're just cutting over to the new global database. It's not like someone pushed the big red button.
