Excitement of the evening: Just got back from hospital ER. I have now been blessed with a condition called Boutonneire's Deformity, a slippage of the tendon in the finger, which means 3-6 weeks with a splinted finger (and possibly surgery). Did I mention it's my right hand, ring finger, and I am so fucking right handed it isn't even funny?
Also, they don't make voice recognition software that runs on my version of the mac os, so I get to hunt and peck type for the next four weeks. Double fun.
At least I talked the (adorable) ER doctor into giving me a nerve block that'll keep me pain free for the next 12 hours or so.
