(the annotated version)

Aug 23, 2008 23:11

For those of you who were asking for it: I've gone through the two worst-culprit sections of Howling and briefly annotated (most) of JD's references with the same tooltip-title trick I used for the translations: the annotated May and June. (Do read the full story first, though.)

This isn't DVD commentary or dissection (I do hope to get to that at some point, though), just footnotes. In some cases, they're only a starting point for Googling. I am sure I missed some of the references, since I was doing it quickly; if anyone spots anything I've missed, give a holler. (If you use Firefox 2 or earlier, you may need to view source or use an alternate browser; FF2 cuts off tooltips after a certain length, alas.)
