I'd like to just take a second to ask everyone to please respect the fact that I don't want my fannish identity and my RL identity connected in places that I don't control. I'm seeing way, way too many comments that are being very specific about me, in places I have absolutely no way to follow and/or control, and that's really not cool, and all it's going to take is one person deciding that they want to quote-out-of-context something I've said in whatever protest email they decide to write to whatever email addresses they find, and I get fired. That's seriously not cool, and please don't fucking do it and ask other people not to do it either, okay?
I've privatized several previous posts, because I don't want them misquoted, misinterpreted, or misused any further. Please respect. Thanks.
ETA: Thanks to everyone who's emailing with thoughts and wishes. I've been up for like 36 hours and the internet access here where we are for the week is incredibly spotty and refuses to easily let me send email, so please forgive me if I don't reply immediately.
