Japan goodness.

So I got back from Japan a week ago, and have been recovering from jet lag since. I thought I might share some choice pics of my trip.

First thing after stepping off the plane. "Holy shit! That sports drink is named 'Life Partner'!!!"

3 cheers for Kareoke!

While looking for a Buddist shrine, we got lost for 2 hours and found 3 other random and remotely located shrines. This is the 2nd random shrine.

2 Words... Bust Pudding. Yup. 2 pudding cups complete with decorative nipple... Of course I had to buy one for Devon. :)

I ate lots of conveyer belt sushi, which I love.. except natto (fermented soybeans that smell and taste like garbage) sushi... Natto = evil.

Being shown how to dress myself in the Yukata I had just bought. (Yukata = daily worn version of Kimono)

I spent a large portion of the trip with my girlfriends being utterly lost.. Here we are lost in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by rice paddies.

Tokyo!!!

I visited the Harajuku district, that Gwen Steffani sings about in all of her songs. It was full of awesome stores with fantastic clothes, unfortunately the clothes are only made to fit girls who are under 5'5" and 95LBS, who have boyish figures... Oh well. :(

Calpis is a kind of juice that tastes kind of good. Its pronounced Cow-piss, though, so it makes me giggle.

I got to be on Inter FM with my girlfriends, which is one of Tokyo's radio stations. Yeay for bizarre connections that get you places.

This is my "Lost in Translation" moment. I was trying to call Devon in Seattle, but I could only call him around 9am or around 9pm. It took me almost 24 hours to figure out how to place the call using a calling card and pay phone, and the only pay phone in the area was on the side of a high way... Anyways, It worked, kinda... and it made for a neat looking photo.
