Random Update
- Heather and I have started playing FF VIII.
- This is mostly for Tony but there is a new video blog from the devs of the game Too Human and is worth watching if you have been following the game at all.
- I'm not sure whats going to happen when Kyle gets back, but I am quitting WoW for now. Without a computer to play it on there is no point remaining subscribed. I've been having fun playing games that actually have an ending anyway.
- This isn't something I just learned but just remembered to put on here. If you apply to work at Family Video, at least at the one in Iron Mountain, you have to take a competency test after your first interview. You have to score a 70 or something to pass. However, you will also not get a callback if you score above a 90 as anyone that can score that high is too likely to be unsocial. This is information I learned from an employee and is, to put it bluntly, one of the gayest things I've ever heard.
- The new magic set Future Sight is coming out soon and previews have started. I hope to someday have money to play again. Some of the Ravnica abilities are being redone (some with a twist) along with scry, poison, cycling, and other abilities that have already been revisited in the block. From what I can tell so far, they aren't messing with the color wheel much. I'm not a fan of the new timeshifted border though. They went a little too crazy with it. Some example cards: Intervention Pact, Virulent Sliver, Tombstalker. Also go see the cards on magicthegathering.com. There are other more interesting cards leaked but they aren't all scanned and some aren't in English. To see all of them go to Mtgsalvation.com
