Spam spam spam spam
Heya kiddies... It's been a while, omg.
So, right, loads of stuff's been happening... ish. Some things have happened, some things are not happening at all, but read along, and I shall fill you all in on what is sure to be a very boring post...
So, house hunting has been happening, though it's been very slow and has drawn to a standstill while we re-coup our brains and think about saving more money before jumping into something too quickly. We've looked at 2 houses so far (not many, huh?) for around the £70,000 mark as that is the cheaper end of what we can afford, but neither were what we were looking for - yes, they were huge houses, but we need parking/storage for our bikes, which neither house could really provide.
We went to France at the start of the month, to visit Alex's Uncle and Aunty, all the way down to Beaurepaire-En-Bresse - see how far we travelled! ON MOTORBIKE!! :O I had a bad eye for the trip, so most of the pics of me show me with my hand over my eye wailing in agony. Shant be sharing those ones.
Our trip was quite long - On the Saturday, we travelled to Iver to see Alex's Mum, then from there we went to a hotel some place in Kent, then we spent the night and caught the 8am ferry from Dover to Dunkerque. Arrived in France at 10am French time, and 10 hours later we arrived at Beaurepaire-En-Bresse.
We went and saw a few different villages, went to a proper French market (much the same as proper English markets, just with people speaking French instead really), saw LOTS of vineyards, and generally enjoyed the country lifestyle. A little kitten who looks just like Gizmo, only way littler has adopted Alex's aunty and uncle. He was really cute, so we took lots of pictures :D
We were there for 2 nights, travelled back on the Tuesday, caught the 1am ferry back to the UK, and got to Alex's mums for around 6am. Was fucking shattered, so slept all day until Alex's mum got back from work, and dragged me out of bed to go to M&S to buy a duvet & pillows with my staff discount. Then went back to bed.
Will post pics when I find the USB SD card reader thingy to upload my pics with.
I'm gonna be doing nights over Xmas, so you may well see a bit more of me as I'll be spending more time round my parents (so more time on the internet!), as the buses stop running from here to town at about 5pm (STUPID!!!), and 9 miles is hardly walking distance, so.... but on the plus side, I shall be earning lots of monies, as it's 40% extra premium for working nights, and as I work Saturday night, I get Sunday morning at time and a half, plus the 40% premium ontop! Shall have loads of monies.
Me and Alex joined the local gym on Wednesday. We worked our chubby little bums off for 40 minutes before deciding we were too shattered to continue. We shall be going again once we recover O.O
I have signed up for Facebook, due to popular demand from the girls at work and everyone I have ever met saying "Do you have Facebook???" when they see me. So I'm there, Kristina Bell, check me and my pictures out!
Anyway, gotta go chill out infront of the TV, as I need some rest. I feel absolutely wrecked from working so much over the past few weeks.
