DOOP Season Has Officially Started.
Philadelphia Union opened the season 3 weeks ago winning 1-0 over Houston Dynamo on the road. A week later they won 1-0 over the Vancouver Whitecaps at home, in PPL Park in scenic (HA!) Chester, PA. Last night they lost 0-1 to the LA Galaxy, with Beckham being as smug of a twat as ever (WHYYYYYY did I ever like him?). Our defense help up admirably but our offense still has as much cohesion as the soup they serve at school lunches.. Yeah, it's there and you can tell what it's supposed to be but none of the ingredients really work together and it could really use some serious doctoring.
Next week brings us home again against the New Jersey Pink Cows, where I expect many insults and possibly some beers will be thrown. I wonder if security will be on the roof again?
