Did you ever have the feeling something was missing? Not a big something, like a lover or a home, just a little something that was there just a moment ago and now it's gone. Or... that you didn't even know it was missing until you saw something that reminded you that SOMETHING used to be there?
Today, for some reason, I miss State College and Rothrock and my fire tower and my mountain and my endless gravel roads and my nature very poignantly.
My dream someday is to live on a rural farm, near a wooded mountain, with a freeway nearby that allows a 30-45 minute drive to a reasonably large city center.
...hey, I said it was a dream, OK?
I'm supposed to go to the mall with David and John today, but I might go to Green Lane instead.

Also, while I'm thinking of it, it is becoming increasingly likely that there will be an LJ name change. I love the badger and she will always be an intrinsic part of me. But she doesn't encompass all that I am and the way that I live my life. I know, I know, it's just an online journal. But names are very important to me (thanks, Ursula K. LeGuin) and having JUST the right one for everything is crucial for me. Even my RL name is just a placeholder until I figure out what I am actually named.
Anyway. Don't be surprised if technobadger is renamed in the next few days.
