(no subject)
Fairbanks (mintindeed's sugar glider) is snuggled in for a long day's sleep at the foot of my bed. Max (his cat) is hiding under the loveseat in the living room and stares disdainfully at me every time I put the recliner up to check on him. The menagerie seems to be adjusting well to their temporary digs and they are absolutely adorable. *sigh* I miss having pets full time.
Me? I finished work at 4:30 and came home to start in on the wine. Tomorrow is Turkey day with mintindeed, my grandmother and mom and dad. Friday I will hopefully be depositing my paycheck and going shopping. Saturday is relaxing and Sunday is church (no comments from the peanut gallery) followed by more relaxing. I seriously need some downtime to myself. Like whoa.
Maybe if I'm lucky it will even snow tomorrow.
Ooo, I got my hair fork and fibulae from The Crafty Celts today. Super happy with everything -- especially the hair fork. I love getting mail. ^^
Now I think I take a break from SCA stuff and go look at houses and apartments. And when I'm too drunk to think anymore I shall snuggle in bed. The only way tonight would be any better was if my girlfriend were here.
Oh well -- if things were too perfect I'd never have anything to look forward to.
Oh, Fairbanks stirs! He's gone into his little pouch and is pulling all the straps in after him. I think I shall watch and be fascinated by the cuteness for a bit.
