There is something cheesy afoot...
Has anyone else noticed that there is far more Fall Cleaning than Spring Cleaning that needs to be done? Summer is a rather dirt producing season. Take for example The Summer Feasting of the Trees - aka all these dead leaves Summer leaves behind for Fall to deal with. And then there is the rainy season blowing all the leaves around and the cats tracking them and mud into my home. Oh and don't get me started on shedding! I just seem to spend more time cleaning like big muck cleaning than Spring could ever consider producing.
Of course I didn't clean much this weekend. Made cookies today - well bar cookies which is the equivalent of one LARGE Chocolate Chip Cookie that I was too lazy to scoop into individual cookies. I do like bar cookies. Plus I only had enough margarine for half a recipe so it all fit so well in the square dish. So there you have it - BARS!
Please note a failed promise - the pictures of John Hodgman at PDX's Wordstock did not turn out at ALL. And I used a digital camera so there is no excuse for me not seeing that they were crap photos and all blurry, BUT JOHN HODGMAN! Alas I was in a bit of a state being so near a Famous Minor Television Personality.
Now being the poor person that I am I was unable to attend John Hodgman's appearance at LIVEWIRE in PDX, but thanks to the Information Super Highway you can all feast on a portion of that magical* night of entertainment:
*I have no idea if any magic was on hand at all. Nor do I know if any illusions. And lots of other awesome people were there besides Hodgman. But were they playing a ukulele? Again, I have no idea at all.
