"Be Kind Rewind" is awesome! Sweet and funny and I highly recommend watching. It has a similar vibe to Rushmore, but minus the over-achievement and love triangle. Jack Black is wonderfully Jack Black. Mos Def is sweet and a wonderful straight man to Jack Black's craziness. Yes, you may think the idea of VHS tapes being erased by a magnetized man is impossible, but think of it as a Homer Simpson-esq plot point that is insane, but opens the door to a bigger story about community, commercialism, and hope. RENT IT!
