So I finally got a job. I'll be an NCC operator, a position which has absolutely nothing to do with what I studied in college. Not that I'm complaining; for the first time since December I'll have more than $100 to my name.
According to the people I talked to it's supposedly a rather boring job. I'd be monitoring networks and systems to make sure they're online and working properly. If anything goes down I try to fix it, then I go back to monitoring. If there's as much downtime as I'm lead to believe I might join that NaNoWriMo thing just to pass the time.
