Do You Have An Appointment?
Yesterday was the 1st annual Diego Luna Day. I celebrated it with fellow Diego Luna Obssessee, Miss Roshana. Now, in case you don't know who Diego Luna is, 1)Go shoot yourself right now, 2)He's a Mexican (Yes, Mexican) actor, and 3)I was just kidding about number 1.
Well, the day started off with a trip to the movies were we viewed Diego's latest vehicle, The Terminal (If you've seen it, you probably understand the name of this entry). Then, we went to my house and waited for the rain to stop. Once it ended, we headed to Blockbuster video and rented 2 of Senor Luna's films: One, a critically acclaimed, Oscar nominated, international succes (Y Tu Mamà Tambien) and the other, a critically slammed, domestic flop-of-sorts (Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights). Ten bucks to the person who guesses which one I liked more. Anyway, we watched both films and then stayed up for that crazy show on VH1 at 3 AM about Insomnia that shows the same music videos about every 30 minutes. Hey, at least I got to hear the pretty song! So we stayed up 'til about 4:30, 5-ish which had its consequences. I woke up late and i hate waking up late but oh well. Later, once we thought Diego Luna Day was over, we find Open Range playing on Starz. Even though he was in a coma for most of the film (and when he wasn't, he was getting shot), it was much fun to watch. But I have to remember, I can't love Diego, i can only like him (according to Roshana).
Anyway, in news that does not have to do with Diegito (which is no news in my life. i can very much relate what you are about to read with him): I'm mad Brazil beat Uruguay at the Copa America or whatever that football thing is called but hopefully Argentina can pull an upset and beat them in the finals. Vamos vamos, Argentina! Vamos vamos a ganar! Ok, I don't remember the rest of the song hew taught me but vamos Argentina!!! Woohoo!! Roshy, is the final this sunday on canal 3? What time? What time?
