Had to come back to this post and tell you I can't stop listening to this. What really struck me about HP7:2 is that it felt like a war movie, not an action flick; and the weight of it, the too-heavy-to-bear subtext is right here in your music mix, every shade of it, clear and painful and perfect.
Oh man, you don't know how much this comment means to me! I agree completely that the mood/tone of both HP7:1 and 2 is war film, that's what makes it so heart-wrenching. I'm thrilled beyond words that it translated into the mix. Thank you so much! :')
Omg, it's the LEAST I could do. I was heartbroken by the movie but in a sort of... strangely unfinished way, I guess (which is odd given that the last book is so focused on closure), and this mix was just cathartic: it brought the pain to the surface, exorcised it. Um, that sounds ridiculous and dramatic but it's been a long road and many of our years with these stories and these characters, and - just, thank you for seeing what you did and then creating the mix that spoke about it so eloquently. ♥
And here I was flailing at your previous comment. WHAT AM I TO DO WITH MYSELF NOW???!!! Thank you really doesn't begin to express how I feel right now and yeah. WOW. I am speechless. :')
