Well.
I've just finished the new Harry Potter book. Go me! I'm one of the chosen many...heh. I could tell you who dies (and man, does Rowling go on a spree! It is a war, after all!). But I won't...I'll just say it's quite satisfying.:)
I actually did alright for myself this weekend. Thursday I saw Harry Potter 5. Breakfast with WB Friday morning (we got in an argument and he actually slammed the door in my face! Can you believe that!). Friday night I was feeling quite morose, when I went out and saw Hairspray. It was darling. I wasn't sure at first, because how can you POSSIBLY make Hairspray without Divine?? But then I found out it was John Travolta, and I had to see it. He steals EVERY scene he's in, especially the end!! There's a particularly amusing number between him and Christopher Walken, but they don't kiss. Now that would have been REALLY daring! :) Funniest line: "My heart only beats for size 60." pfft! But it's a toe-tapper, and will leave you grinning.
After Hairspray was over, I drove by Chapters, and the place was packed, so I went in. The lineup for people who had pre-ordered went all the way around the store, yet there was NONE for people who hadn't, so I was in and out in less than five minutes. So...this time, poor planning paid off. :)
