LSD & Synesthesia

I have synesthesia, and in the next few weeks I'm going to drop acid for the first time. My friends are nervous about me doing it BECAUSE I have synesthesia. When I smoke weed it's always enhanced and I tell them about it, and so they think acid will be too much and I'll freak out. I think I'll be fine. My question is: if you have synesthesia and have taken LSD, is your synesthesia enhanced that much? Does it do anything weird at all?
