Please tell me this is an Onion-like article...

The EU goes straight up gangsta-- by joining the videogame revolution.

But! Check out this opening quote:

"Video games should have a 'red button' parents can press to disable inappropriate games, says a report."

Isn't that nice of them? You know, I thought the ON/OFF BUTTON would be enough, but now it has to be all big and red. Thanks, EU! You are going to make parents' jobs even easier. Fo' the chillinses!

Otherwise that article says nothing new, nothing revolutionary, nothing really. Basically it just helps to confirm that the EU is prone to the same kind of utterly fucking retarded committees the US and Canada have-- though, for the record, few things are more fucking retarded than American school boards in Ze South. Or some parts of rural Alberta.

Anyhow, I'm going to go off now and write a scene that involves someone getting stabbed in the face by a bayonet wielding maniac. Hey, I promise that the money that comes from it will be used to buy some educational toys for my kids.

Like this, for instance.

Ok, ok, I'm just kidding. I wouldn't buy a Drake Toy unless I could get a Vance Toy, and trying to pass off one as "Vance-quez" just wouldn't be cool.

Right?

(a big thanks to fftimberwolf on the article heads-up)
