Yeah, being "too balanced" can really mess a game up. It makes things bland and uninteresting. I'll take interesting over balanced any day of the week, month or year.

I always liked playing the Rogue Scholar. Yeah, he was always underpowered and wimpy, but it was great fun.

I don't care what anyone says, Rifts has one of the most fun settings ever in rpgs. :)
