(no subject)
My hair is red again. I missed my red hair. Sure, the bleached blonde was pretty and all, but I really LOVE being auburn. Such a pretty color. I've also penciled in darker eyebrows for the first time in my life, and I don't think I did too badly.
I hung with a friend I hadn't seen in awhile, and we went and saw Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Now, it wasn't the best movie made, but the both of us did enjoy it. And then I went to the mall yesterday, as I thought I had the day off. After enjoying about 2 hours at the mall, I get a call from my manager saying otherwise. I ended up being an hour and a half late, but thankfully I have a very understanding manager, and I didn't get in any sort of trouble.
I guess this is what never being late without a call, and always showing up for my shift on time, and even clocking in early, can do for you. Since that's part of my work ethic, she knew it was because I honestly didn't know that I was supposed to work that day. She really is awesome, and I can't imagine working at another location, even though I would prefer something a little closer. The trust and respect I have for my coworkers and the management there is pretty much irreplaceable, and I'm not willing to give that up any time soon.
