Restaurant weirdness

Peter had this weird run-in with a restaurant owner. First, we called to order ahead for some pizzas (buy one get one free) using a coupon in a book we had purchased through a PTA fundraiser. Good golly, Miss Molly! I just love the "we don't honor those coupons" line. Well, then, who does? I'm very leary about purchasing those coupon books just due to the common hassle involved in getting the BOGO or similar advertised. And, just wow. If I had witnessed an employee calling a customer "cheap" - I'd certainly take my business elsewhere. Grrr!

We've never had a problem redeeming our coupons. In fact, the guys at work often go to a lunch place and they'll let us use 2 BOGOF coupons for the 4 of us even though technically it's one per table.

Yes - the book cost $20 and we've gotten at least $12 back so far after only 3 coupons. We eat out too much :)

Our book also had Publix coupons, so we got our money's worth even without the $3 Thai lunches :)
