Stars Seen By Lupine Eyes

The path in the night will remained darkened
There is a call to somewhere, it must be hearkened
The moon sings a silent song of eerie fate to me
I sit in the clearing and stare in wonder
there's a feeling of worms under my skin
squirming, churning, wriggling masses
I begin to itch and scratch
I need to shed away this pale mask
My fur needs to breathe
The hunter needs to fed
Warm flesh torn fresh
Eating the living and soon to be dead
Clawing red gouges from which life will be bled
I am the stalker in the night
Closing in on the unaware
Back alley bloodshed
Mass merciless murders
For the joy of the slaughter
In the morning they'll find the bodies
or at least parts of them
Gnawed and maimed
By a beast untamed
Running unchecked preying off the herds of man
They'll never catch me, i'm too clever
For in actuality I am deceit
Leading the witch hunts
But search as we may
All traces lead to the same dead end
And for as long as I live
I'll move amongst the classes of man
Searching for more prey
Spreading fear and sewing despair
Man the hunter becomes man the hunted
He's a link lower now and forever
I'll sire more family amongst your daughters and sisters
And a pack will be formed
Keeping the population in check
By a swift claw across the neck
We carry the mark of the beast
Canine soldiers armored in dark secrets
Whispering like ghosts in the fog
silent ballets of nature at ease
and humanity on his knees
