Ugly...
Well, I found that infections love me. After having cured that other wretched "infection", I now have a throat and ear infection. I most likely got the throat one from cutting open my gums on both sides of my mouth while brushing my teeth last week. I caught a bit of a flu and sore throat just from that. That was fun. The ear infection... I don't know. It's very minimal and I can just barely feel it. But it's there. I even rinsed it out with hydorgen peroxide yesterday. I thought I just had a really bad ear infection that was so deep in my ear that effected my throat. When I swallow, it feels like my tongue is going to go along for the ride, especially when I drink juice. Along with that it feels like there is a golf ball lodged inside my throat just off to the right. I looked at it last night and freaked out. It's all swollen back there and my tonsils have all this wonderful white stuff growing on them. I looked it up online and it could have been a few things, but one of them was most common in infants and people with dentures and I didn't reall have any of those symptoms. The other one I didn't have any symptoms of either. I looked up strep throat this morning and I had all the symptoms of that. Fun stuff. I made an appointment with the doctor shortly after finding that out. I went to the doc's office and waited about 20 minutes ina room by myself and he came in and looked at me for what must have been a minute and said I had an ear infection and an infection in my throat, didn't say whether it was strep or not.
I am taking Amoxicillin for both conditions. I had some chicken soup earlier and played some Dark Alliance 2 (Sorry Candice, I am playing it without you.) I wanted to get some sleep, but it's so hot in my damn house I can't manage to get any, I sweat like crazy in bed when it is hot and I get all sticky and uncomfortable. Sleeping in heat makes me feel dirty and more itchy I find.
They also put my on Zyrtec, I got some free samples of that. Thank god, if I have to pay for anymore prescritions anytime soon, I'm going to flip. In all of this sickness and pain, I actually feel quite good. I just have a slight cough and headache, but I am actually no worse for the wear. I feel ok otherwise, I am actually happy. I'm not writhing on the floor in utter pain and discomfort. It only hurts when I swallow and that's it, the less I swallow the less I notice anything.
I have lost alot of weight also. I lost 3 pounds because of this. I have no appetite really. The only thing I ate recently was chicken soup this afternoon and then nothing before that until last night when I made a TV dinner. I am also dehydrated. Trying to drink alot of juice, water, and whatever's left of my can of soup. I love soup.
I'm going to miss out on alot the next few days. I can't even go out of the house. If I feel any better tomorrow I am going to work. It's only 12:30 til 6:30 and I can play off being ok. I really need the hours. I can't not work. It'll kill me. I need to pay doctors bills and insurance and my cell phone bill. If I feel shittier come tomorrow I'll call in sick.
I wish I wasn't sick today, I really wanted to take Candice and Bella to the library. :(
I did the thing where you type your name in google and look at the photos and pick your favorite. I noticed that most David's are well, ugly. I even found women that are apparently named David... Disturbing... The hottest David, is Michelangelo's David. Great looking guy. I didn't pick that David. I picked this David,
because between the off-white asylum walls he just seems to be calling out to you through the cell window with that look of, "Everything will be okay... until I kill you" -shakes his head- That was scary... This picture just disturbed me, because you don't know what's going on in this man's head and it scares me. It's funny that I can get so many emotions from a picture I'm jumping to conclusions about. hehe
Anyways, I am off to play some more Dark Alliance II. :) Yeee!
