Bets. He wasn’t going to participate in anymore bets, especially not with Alfred. With Souji was, fine, he wasn’t as cruel. But this was down right humiliating. And Alfred cheated, he knew that! In order to shut him up, Yosuke just claimed defeat. That was a stupid idea and Yosuke would hate himself for it till the end of time. And of course, Alfred had to include Chie, which meant Yukiko was coming along for the ride. Goddamn it!
So the Gryffindor awkwardly stood outside of the Syltherin dorm. It was cold and he could feel the chills running up his legs. This skirt was too short and these knee highs covered so little and he liked his hair down. This bow was entirely too big and this shirt/sweater combo looked stupid and these shoes. These shoes….
“Kill him, I’ll kill him,” Yosuke muttered under his breath.
How did this even happen? Weren’t they like… house rivals? How did he manage so set up some crazy blind date with a Syltherin?
“Excuse me, are you Hana?”
“Y-yes.”
Alfred decided Yosuke couldn’t use his first name. So he chose part of his last name: ‘Hana’mura.
His voice came off awkwardly high pitched. A small cough and he was able to fix that.
“Yes, I’m Hana. And you are Jules, right?”
“Yes.”
Jules took Yosuke’s hand and slightly kiss it. Oh god, why did he do that? Yosuke blushed. Thanks Yukiko for teaching him how to be girly… if it was a result of that.
Releasing the other’s hand, Jules smiled lightly.
“Is going to Diagon Alley for tea pleasurable for you?”
“Th-that’s fine.”
“Dear, you don’t have to be so nervous.”
He placed his hand on the side of Yosuke’s face. The Gryffindor froze.
“S-sorry, I’ve just never been on a blind date before.”
“I’ve got everything under control. Trust me.”
And with that Jules placed a slight kiss on Yosuke’s forehead. Yosuke wanted to die. But he couldn’t just reveal himself. He would have to pay Alfred an insane amount of money if he did.
“Now, let’s go.”
He followed. How could he not? Jules was holding his hand.
Needless to say, Yosuke never blew his cover. But the details about how Jules kept touching his leg, got too close for comfort, and wished to see him again; Yosuke would leave them out.
