[the device cuts on abruptly, but for a moment nothing can be heard. unless maybe you focus and listen for the rasping breath of someone in pain, maybe the steady dripping of some heavy liquid. . .]

[Solomon arrives, a blur of motion as he appears by Saya's side.]

Saya!

[Saya, predictably, looks horrible. She's covered in scrapes and bruises and cuts, and sister dearest left her leg jutting out at an unnatural angle, too. For your listening pleasure, her breaths come in sharp, rasping gasps.]

[ Ino is next to arrive, within a few moments of talking to Hagi thanks to some chakra-enhanced rooftop running. There's already a group surrounding Saya, but Ino barely spares everyone a glance before quickly pushing her way through, immediately dropping down to her knees at Saya's side. ]

Everyone stand back. She needs a little room. [ With a hasty, cursory glance at the extent of the injuries, Ino purses her lips and summons her healing chakra, her hands hovering over the worst of Saya's injuries with a soft blue glow. ]

[Hagi waits, Saya seated carefully in his lap despite his own wounds. Cuts littering his body, the worst being the wound on his neck. But he doesn't seem to even notice, his eyes focused on Saya even as Solomon and the others arrive.]

Ino- [He starts, pausing as she immediately tries to take charge of the situation. He watched as she began to heal her, frowning as only the smallest wounds began to close.] ... That will not be enough.

[Today was NOT a good day. After nearly having lost the love of his life last week, his mind was on overload seeing her laying so critically injured in Hagi's arms. To make matters worse, there were strangers all around, in his eyes pushing their way to her and worse doing things to her. It was more than he could take. There was no trace of his typical calm pleasant demeanor as he dropped down beside her and snarled fiercely at the blonde girl across from him.]

YOU! GET AWAY FROM HER NOW!!!

[Leaning forward, he shielded her with his body, as if challenging anyone else to interfere.]

I...

[He struggled to regain some semblance of his normal human self, and turned his eyes to examine the girl underneath him.]

I'm her doctor. I can heal this...

[Ffff Saya will not approve of that when she wakes up. For now, she only stirs slightly.]

I'm a medic-nin! I can heal this too! [ Ino barely flinches at the blonde man across from her, expression turning stubborn as she pushes her chakra into the wound--though there's something wrong, and it's not taking. The superficial injuries are closing, but nothing deeper than that, and Ino glances up at Hagi, mouth set in a firm line. ]

What-- [ But she's interrupted by the other man, and dutifully slides out of the way. She'd had no idea about the blood or anything other than the fact that the two of them, Saya and Hagi, aren't exactly human, so she can only really stare at the proceedings for a moment, eyes wide. Then she remembers that Hagi is injured too and turns toward him, voice quiet. ] Here, Hagi.

Solomon-- [It's chaotic already, and his eyes go from Sam to Ino and finally to Solomon, crouching protectively over Saya. His reaction- his anger -immediately has him on edge, and Hagi's stare is flat as he regards the other chevalier. Nevermind his hand, bandages bloody and unbound to reveal the true form beneath- it's his weapon, and he uses it; immediately striking out mere inches from Solomon's face as a warning.]

They are here to help. You'll only make this more difficult by losing control.

... Ino. It-- .... Do what you can. [He regards her, knowing her abilities will likely have the same affect. Finally, he turns to Saya, jostling her gentle though he knows the scent of blood will do more to wake her.] ... Saya.

[Instinct kicks in, and Saya lets out a ragged gasp and immediately clamps onto Sam's arm. She isn't very gentle about it, either.]
