today at yom kippur services, when i was walking over there was a bakesale and i had to bitterly decline. 1. you can't buy anything on yom kippur, 2. you fast all day.
and then, in between services may'aan and i went to the brooklyn promenade and we were approached by a make-up saleswoman. 1. you can't buy anything 2. you can't wear makeup/put on any "ointments"
and then at 7, i ate a bite of babka which was the most heavenly thing to eat. and then we got bagels with all the fixins. YUM. the end
