Long story short, we, and everyone else here have been brought to this world by a group of scientists. We're not exactly sure why, but we're stuck and can't leave. When you get here, they put a chip inside of you, so that's why your powers aren't working.
Time also works differently here. I've been here for...[...wait...give her a second...]...about a year and four months. I know, I haven't been gone from our world for that long. It doesn't matter.
You were here before for a very long time. Sometimes people disappear, and come back. When they do that, often they don't return with their memories of being here before.
That's...what happened to you.

I know it's a hard story to swallow, but it's our reality. You need to know, there are monsters here that live on the streets, and not all of the residents are very friendly. Without your abilities, you're at risk. Is someone on their way to find you? You need to get to a safe place.

My name is Jacqueline O Lantern Dupre. I'm a student at Shibusen and my meister, Kim is a witch. She hid it for obvious reasons, but she is a good person. Recently, Shibusen found out, and Kim panicked and left, I went with her because she needed me. It's what weapons are supposed to do. They protect their meisters, and Kim is my best friend.
We went to Arachnaphobia. While we were there, they brainwashed both of us into being enemies of Shibusen, but our friends saved us. We went back to school, with Shinigami-sama's full acceptance, and Kim has been helping out as a medic for Shibusen since.

Maka, Soul, Marie-sensei, Professor Stein, Death Scythe, Patti was here for a very short time more than a year ago...Tsubaki...even the demon Kishin was here for a while. This place doesn't discriminate with the people it brings.
You and Soul were both here more than once, and Soul lost his memories the second time he was here as well.
