Living in a dump
My sister lives in a dump. There is no reason for the complex to be a dump, but years of neglect by the former owners and now the current owner (out of State owner) has made the place into a dump.
The lady next door to my sister's apartment has had nothing but trouble since she moved in. The most recent was that the pipes burst in her ceiling, ruining everything she owned pretty much. The apartment manager took her over to another apartment to show it to her saying that she could move in immediately. When the door was opened to the new apartment... it was flooded. The pipes had burst there too and no one knew it. They hadn't checked the place out before showing it to her.
