In memory of Sheila Devine.
61 year-old grandmother Sheila Devine was raped and beaten in her apartment here in Louisville on Nov 12. She later died in the hospital on Nov 29. The police currently have no suspects, nor is there a lot of reporting on this story. They don't even have a photo of her anywhere on-line, nor any details of her life, and her obituary was thin and useless, saying only that she had been cremated.
Sheila was not a well-to-do woman so they aren't looking too hard, not reporting a lot, and her family can't afford to do anything themselves, nor do they appear to be literate enough to do anything on-line in a tribute or to seek justice.
This is a sad fucking thing because she was a nice woman and deserves better than this.
