when my friend beth turned 21 she declared it the "week of beth." sadly, i was in scotland at the time and have only heard the stories, but it was so amazing/traumatizing that she refused to even celebrate 22. in a similar vein, i think i need to celebrate the week and a half to two weeks of linden when my birthday rolls around shortly. mostly this is to accommodate the kacie-is-here-for-thanksgiving on one end and the karen-returns-from-africa on the other, but i think we will all reap the benefits. so far my thoughts include rollerskating, kingdom, and an exciting trip to delaware. any other thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated (as are gifts).
