Boooo Silence! Hoooray Update! (w/Pics!) Part One.

So, it's been some time since I've updated my journal(s), so it's about time I give a much needed update. I'll even throw in some entertaining pictures of my adventures.
First off, at the end of June, I traveled to San Diego, with Noah, to see Radiohead, and determined that the Radiohead show was the only thing worth seeing there, because I wouldn't want to live there.
On our first night there, after a long adventure, we found a decent hotel (one that cost $70 per night, and not $150) we went searching for food, only to get lost in the city for almost 2 hours. We ended up eating at the Denny's across the street from the hotel.
The next day we went to glorious Sea World.
The Shamu show was quite possibly one of the gayest things I've seen (and I've watched hardcore gay pornography)...and it almost bordered on bestiality. There's no way you can watch that show and not wonder how many of those trainers get it on with the whales.
The dolphin show was less gay.
Went to the highest point in San Diego (I don't remember what it was called) and took some pictures:

Saw some penguins:

Also notable, is the virtual helicopter ride they had there. It was actually quite entertaining.
Also took a ride on the Atlantis thing, it was alright, but I've been on better rides.
After a day at Sea World, it was a little rest at the hotel before going to the Bayside Arena to see Radiohead!
The opening band was Deerhoof (I think I got it right) and it was a couple of guys and a Japanese girl. The guys played instruments, the girl played either a bass or a guitar, and sang, but it was merely short bursts of Engrish words, and maybe some Japanese here and there. Seriously, one of the songs had only the lyrics "Bunny, Bunny, Bunny, Bunny".

After that, it was time for the band I've wanted to see for many years! I had alot more pics, but the only camera I have is my camera phone, and the quality sucks.

It was an amazing show, I heard most of the songs I wanted to hear, and I even get to re-live the memory.

We left back to Phoenix the next day.
Back at home, I started my job at KFC. What can I say, it sucked.
A couple of weeks later, it was Ozzfest 2006.
The first half of the day was long and hot, and the only notable band to perform was Bad Acid Trip, who I'd seen twice earlier (once at America West Arena w/ System of a Down and once at Marquee w/ Mindless Self Indulgence). I finally bought their CD, and met them at the FYE booth after they played.
Dragonforce was okay, Lacuna Coil could have been better, but they played all the songs I wanted to hear, so I was happy.
Avenged Sevenfold pretty much sucked except for one point where they played a cover of Pantera's Walk, and it sounded exactly as if Pantera were there playing it. Everyone stood up for their moving tribute to Dimebag Darrel.
Hatebreed was less than impressive, imo.
Disturbed was awesome, and System of a Down completely blew away their Phoenix show. Each of these performances alone were more than worth the cost of the ticket, even if the rest of the bands that day weren't all that great.
During Disturbed, people started ligthing fires in the lawn area, which made Ozzfest one of the best experiences I've ever had at a show.
Because my camera phone has shitty quality, and we had lawn tickets, I only got pictures of the lawn fires.

And, the rest of the story will come later, my hand is cramping up now.
