You know, it's like these wardens don't care at all about public safety! I mean, she pretty much told us to do it and handed herself over on a silver platter...
I for one thought I had lost my chance at sport-battle with some real teeth.
Mr. Brock, I tell you true that people would suffer less grief in general if they allowed themselves to understand that the morally righteous thing and the necessary thing aren't always the same.
Unfortunately I could not join battle. I was...er...locked in my room. In...escapably. Aheh.
Hey, I'd hate to disappoint. Just as soon as I'm out of here...
Seriously. Any one of the inmates could've had this whole thing squared away in minutes if the wardens didn't get so fussy about a little bit of temporary death.
It might've been for the best. I mean, people were getting taken out by toasters and stairs. [Well, he assumes. He doesn't know. Anyway, he chuckles.] It was crazy...
Depends on the Wardens. Mine's no fun, he just acts like I kicked his mother and gets that sad wibbly look.
But the ones who have shown corruption and vulnerability of late...hmmmm...now they need to taste the judgment of public opinion.
Let me know when you're out, yes? I have more CES privileges. Perhaps we could hunt as well as fight. Does your companion like fresh meat? I have no use for it.
More the most self righteous of her protectors. The lot of them are responsible for those of mine who are now wounded. Right now she'll be heavily protected, and I am waiting to see how insulting the slap on the wrist they give her is.
Mmm. Well, all I require is the blood. And there's no point wasting a good kill. Your companion seems a carnivorous fellow, so I thought I would ask.
Between you and I, I would be in Zero now for the same thing.

I am working on the rest of the backreading. I truly haven't seen a case of misguided idealism this extreme for centuries.
Hopefully the good soldier who handled the work will not be punished too terribly. If ever there were mitigating circumstances...

Hey, if what happened to me is any indication, he'll be down here in no time.

We take it a little on the rare side. It's been a long time since we've gone hunting.
