it's been awhile
summer is nice, mostly. i worked mornings all last week and that exhausted me. i hate early mornings in the summer, it's just not natural. monday i went camping with spam and spenn chez sibbald point, and that was great! i love drunken camping then staying at the beach all day!!! here's my favourite shot from that time away, i call it "birk's eye view" lol.
we got back wednesday morning, and since it stormed tuesday night, there was lots of drying to do. oh well. then i went to jo's 18th birthday party at a japanese restaurant. jo had invited her whole church basically, lol, so there was me, mat, lyd and kristen, surrounded by chinese! well, kristen's chinese too...but not really lol. haha, and the restaurant was run by chinese people. so they were everywhere!! lol. but seriously, it was fun, i ate lots and lots of food! i hate vegetable tempura, then jo got sushi boats and i had lots of that. i even ate an eel sushi...now thaaat was weird. good, but weird. well that's all that's new really. gotta work today, and all weekend, this weekend's theme is italian, and there's lots of people coming out...and i'll be working lots!! well that's alright, since i basically skipped work yesterday. hmm...i wonder if she'll be pissy at me today. well, we'll have to see! the summer's half over. wow.
