I got a lot of new friends by going around and commenting on other people's entries, you could try that, maybe?

I should have commented on yours...I did see it, while I was browsing through looking mostly at fandoms and pairings, and was all like 'oh, yay, another Yuan/Botta fan!' and then I looked at the username and realized that you were already my friend. I should have commented anyway, tho.

What series?

The Temeraire series by Naomi Novik. If you're a total geek and like dragons like me, you'll love it. And the main character reminds me of Botta.

Definitely definitely reading, then.

You'd better. 'Cause his dragon reminds me of Yuan, and I swear to god this is not good for my brain. Though, of course, I don't support that sort of interspecies relationship. *shifty eyes* Not good for me...But I love it so.

...XD

Neither do I. Really. Dragons are totally not sexy and smart and...uh. What was I saying?

I don't think it counts as bestiality if the non-humanoid is intelligent. Like, capable-of-consent intelligent, I mean.

Gods, I should not be admitting to this.

Oh, no fears there. At all. I just basically admitted to it too. I have such the urge to write one... Though I could defend myself with the fact that Laurence(who=Botta)calls Temeraire (dragon who=Yuan) 'My dear.' MULTIPLE TIMES! *nod nod*

Though both of them seem to be straight, since they were both banging chicks(of respective species) but we all know they're just in the closet.

This is bordering on insane, isn't it?

Maaaaybe it is. And maaaaybe I don't really care? Sanity's no fun.

It's so interesting, though, because I've totally associated Yuan with dragons for a long time now. This may go back to my slash-fandom roots, which rest firmly back in Yu-gi-oh. Yuan may not be Kaiba, but there are some definite similarities.

Go read the first chapter of the first book, like now, and decide if you like it or not. *nod* It's a little...unique. But it's really good.
