(no subject)
So! Work is going well! It is really, really hard but also really good. The hours are super long - on thursday I did sixteen hours, got home at 1am and collapsed into bed, got up at 7 and went in to do another 13 on friday ugh - but they pretty much fly by. The restaurant opens on tuesday and things are probably going to be manic, but I think we'll have everything under control by then. I'm still on a massive learning curve about where I can fudge things and where I have to get everything exactly right, but I am getting better at things every day. Also yesterday I got to do some service for the first time which was exciting because omg I put food on a plate and made it beautiful and then people ate it!!!
Other than work I have... really not been doing much. Seriously, the hours are so long that I just come home and die slowly. My bro C is coming to visit over today/tomorrow because I have them off (she is supposed to be here already but she is very late because of traffic) and we might go out for food or something, but otherwise I am vastly uninteresting.
I have had this post open for half an hour now trying to think anything interesting to update about but I just can't think of anything. I have been re-reading Pride & Prejudice this week though and I would just like to state for the record that I love every P&P AU that exists and you guys should all tell me about what if x and y were in Pride and Prejudice in the comments (I don't even care about fandom, seriously. TELL ME ABOUT THE ONE WHERE YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTER IS LIZZIE BENNETT. Also acceptable: Secret Garden AUs. For reals).
