"You know where this is going, right? If Dean is going to feel guilty about anyone’s death - especially one where he wasn’t the direct cause of that death, why on earth not bring back John Winchester? Lord, I love Jo, and I like the actress who plays her, but my goodness. Having someone sacrifice their eternal soul so you can live? That to me would outrank, in the guilt department, having someone, who’s been mortally wounded anyway, sacrifice their lives to take out a few hellhounds and give Sam and Dean time to escape. Show beguiles me with the many, many, many times it has overlooked bringing back this particular character. They’ve brought back just about everyone else, so why not John Winchester? Sheesh."
