You can read my review of the Supernatural episode “Croatoan” at

An excerpt:
“Second, I’m pleased on account of The Dad’s theory about Croatoan. Legend has it that the colony of Roanoke disappeared, and either they got absorbed or killed by nearby Indian tribes. Perhaps they wandered aimlessly off in search of the nearest

while I love Bobby and Ellen and all the second stringers, I dislike the habit that Show started at some point where the boys’ first reaction is to reach out and ask someone, rather than figure it out by their own darling selves.
Ha, exactly! We all saw in S1 that they are perfectly capable of figuring things out on their own, but all of a sudden they started calling around for help. This habit got even worse in S3 and I was happy as hell when we finally got an episode (can't remember which one it was) where they solved the case all by themselves.
Dean says, “You’re a handsome devil, but I don’t swing that way.”
Me thinks the boy does protest too much. I personally think Dean swings both ways. Sex is pure fun for Dean, and I firmly believe he knows how to have just as much fun with a guy as with a girl.

Was it the Christmas ep that they solved themselves, without Bobby or Ellen? I figure it's okay if they use the internet, that makes sense, but they're well trained, they shoulnd't have to run home every week for help.
And Dean YES, swings both ways! I asked around once, expecting to shock people with my suggestion that Dean was bi - but nope. Everyone was like, yeah, Dean takes what he wants when he can get it. Always. (And good for him, I say!)

I don't remember which ep it was, and I can't re-watch until the DVDs come out. Didn't they call Bobby in the Christmas one? I seem to recall that he suggested the evergreen stakes. Maybe it was the one with the witches?
Hee. Funny how pretty much everyone assumes Dean screws whoever he wants to. Just like a lot of people (me included) think Dean makes some of their money in the sex trade. If I'm not mistaken JA himself pointed that out in an Australian interview.

The witches one might be it, but honestly I don't know....I had a hard time keeping up with Season Three and have not been back to watch most of those eps after reviewing them if you can believe that. If I figure it out, I'll let you know, okay? And you, the same. We'll pin this sucker down!
Dean swings whatever way will get him laid! I hadn't heard the Australian interview yet, but Ackles has never seemed shy about talking about Dean's proclivities!

In that picture, Sam's eyes are staring into my soul.
It was fully Dean's intent to stay behind that locked door, kill Sam and then turn the gun on himself. D:
I like the boys being independent too. Season Three had them going to Bela or Bobby for help every other episode. ACK. SAM'S AN ENCYCLOPEDIA, WIKI HIM.

I don't think it was Dean's intent to kill Sam, per se, but instead to stay there till the bitter end, come what may. You know? He never wants to kill Sam....
Oh sure, yes! Sammykapedia!!!! LOL!!
