It's been such a long hiatus.

Work has been progressingly well =) Every pay check makes me closer to one of my resolutions this year. I've been reading and doing research on the market demand, the likes and dislikes.. The strategies of some still-surviving-and expanding salon.. Everythings' looking good.

Weather these days are cranky and they are making people falling sick. Walk-ins are already pathetic.. with such weather, it's making things worse.

Anyhow, with LTA new ruling on cutting down the number of COEs starting April, we reckon the number of buyers to up in April.
Most Singaporeans are so typical. Given the situation now, they still think that the COE price will go down. Like how? They just base on the fact, or so call 'fact' that it's the recession, hence everyone are against the idea of buying or changing new cars.

Let's just look at the latest number of outbid COEs. 900 pieces will be brought forward to the next quota. In other words, half of the quota will be grabbed up on the 4th March (Bidding closing date). For those who does not keep track on the numbers, 900 is pretty  much to be brought forward. And I reckon that the COE price will be somewhere near the current COE price, given the recession.

Seriously, if not for the fact that I'm in this line myself, I would have thought the same.
Some of the customers came walking in with the mind set that all sales personnel are out to empty every single cents in their bank accounts. Every questions post to them in hope of helping them achieve their objective in stepping into a showroom turns out to be nothing but denial in themselves. These people ought to have an open mind and ears. They just refuse to listen.

When prices are SERIOUSLY low, they still think that it'll go down further. When the price finally went up, they are still in denial stage thinking that price will still come down. Either that, or they only start to panic and commit their purchases when the price finally goes up. Good for these people. Either you get your vehicle when the price went up, or you get nothing out of the day and are still wasting time looking and waiting around for nothing. Life's such a waste for them.

Okay, so much ranting from me.

Coby in his shoes ready for some cat-chasing

Everyday seems to be passing by without much accomplishment. I think I'm asking too much of myself. But I love the way I want my life to be now. So it's still good and happy.

Till then.

coby, work
