2 months till summer break, and it could not come soon enough.
i miss NJ. some nights i wake up and i think i'm in my bed at home, and i'm only about 473 miles off.
i got into Quaker house for next year.
i'm gonna be taking classes at BCC this summer probably and working at wawa, and maybe planting my own garden in the back yard.
tom and i hitchiked to chicago last weekend. we had a total of 14 people pick us up, including a security guard at the TA truck stop in Gary Indiana, who drove us 22 feet to his office (in a crown victoria), asked for ID, and once we established that he couldn't charge us with anything, said that if we got into a truck with the wrong guy, he would KILL tom, and do worse to me...
"well young lady... if you get in with the wrong trucker, they'll do worse than kill you... they'll BRAINWASH you. it's shocking, but true. you know... those ISLAMS. there's all sort of people out there, the streets aren't safe anymore, it just breaks my heart...."
oh my god. it was crazy. i'm in Indiana for real, guys.
