(no subject)
I haven't updated much lately (except for when I leave my poor little computer in the evil clutches of Kayla and Gastin...) so I figured I'd post something. Today I observed my first five hours for junior field (5 down, 85 to go.....) But I really like the teacher I'm placed with and the students were all really nice, so I'm looking forward to it!! All of my classes this semester are pretty good....except Comm Sem (but that's to be expected!) Grammar sucks, but Morgan's in it with me and we have a "cooperative learning system" rigged up which makes it not so bad. I lucked out and I've got some of my good language arts buddies in each of my classes! It feels a bit weird that I'll be doing my student teaching in the spring. I'm ready for it, but I'm going to miss talking b.s. with Jake, Dr. Hart & some of my TRC pals & everyone. I may work in the spring a night a week or so just to keep in touch with everyone.
I'm also super-excited b/c it's almost my birthday & Roger's buying me a super cute pair of leather pointy-toe boots (My inner Stacy is *beaming*) :) He wants a fiddle for Christmas, but that frightens me a good bit. I predict lots of headaches in January! :) I'm so glad it's fall though! I swear, everyone becomes manic depressant in the fall/winter, but I love it!! I get this fluttery feeling when the air becomes crisp & I love to ride around with the windows down and Sophie's head hanging out! :) This frightens Roger when it's mid-January and we're still hanging our heads out the window, but hey, that's just how I roll! :)
Well, I'm gonna scram now! I need to grab a shower and get my stuff together before tomorrow! I've got a study date! :)
